Can you believe it is Febuary already?
I can’t. Last month went by so quickly! But here we are, in the second month of 2019. I thought I would try something new this year. A the begining of the month I am going to do a recap blog post of the previous month. Kind of like a newsletter I guess, but not, because it isn’t being sent out to your inbox. It is just going to live here on the blog. I figure it can be a good way to share what’s going on behind the scenes at Mini Backdrops, what new designs came out, and maybe feature some customers.
Looking Back At January
January was both a good, yet hard month for me. It was great because sales where great! I am happy to say that Mini Backdrops is picking up where it left off, which I am forever greatful for. I could have used a bit more sales, but I am not complaining!
It was difficult because we have been fighting boughts of sickness with our 4 kids, which means I also have been getting sick. This slows things down a bit, and I wasn’t able to do as much as I wanted (planning videos, considering relaucning the podcast, blogs posts… social media.. you get the picture). My packing room is a mess.
Our car broke, so I haven’t been able to take all the carboard to the recycling.
Besides all that crummy parts of January, I am still going to say it was a good month for Mini Backdrops.

Featured Instagram Accounts
Instagram is my favorite place to be when it comes to Mini Backdrops, and I love coming across accounts that are using Mini Backdrops! There is also the hashtag #minibackdrops that people use when they are using our backdrops. I thought I will make it a habit to feature a couple of Instagram accounts each month. Here are this months featured accounts:

So what’s to come in February? Well, I am hoping to have a few more blog posts written by myself, as well as more guest posts. I am not 100% happy with the website design, so I will probably make some adjustments there. I want to increase my presence on Facebook. Start some conversations and connect with other small business owners! Videos, tutorials… there are so many things! I am not sure how much I will get done this month. I have other projects to attend to as well. But I expect to the be a busy month never the less…
Well, that is all for now. I hope you all have an awesome month!
